On Saturday, March 6th at 5 PM or so, Marilyn and Ed Buck will host an Italian Lasagna Dinner.
You know the place... 1733 East River Road, Marion, OH 43302. Ph = 740-389-2186.
Marilyn says bring only smiles and a big appetite. Menu is simple: lasagna, slad, bread, desserts.
Coffee, wine, some soft drinks, and chilled water (snow) will be available.
Our tax dollars are at work fixing a culvert under Marion Edison road, just east of SR 98. A detour may be needed
if this is your usual route in. We recommend coming north on 98 from Waldo, go past Marion-Edison,
then turn right at the first traffic
light.. You will then be headed east on 95. Turn right again at Williams road - the first road you come to. Then left
back onto Marion Edison road for a block then right onto East River Road.
Oops indicators: if you miss the light on
98/95, the next light is at 309. As you near Williams, the new high school is past Williams on the left, and a big
red brick house in trees on the right. No way to miss Marion Edison; you would go through a ditch into the fields.
However, East River has had its marker stolen so it is easy to overshoot.
The recent effects of glow bull worming have left snow and soggy ground. There is plenty of parking on the blacktop,
but take care to stay on it. Stuck Alfas may be cannibalized for parts.
